There was a good turnout of Rotarians at Capes Park in Courtenay to install 40 plus trees of several species under the guidance of Tyler Johns of the City of Courtenay Parks Department. The forecast rain didn't happen which made for a more pleasant work party than would otherwise have been the case. There were plenty of roots from the nearby large trees to contend with but a pair of loppers and Gord swinging a pick made short work of them.
